YouTube Annoyance

This is why I encourage people to try and learn reading comprehesion in elementary school.

This video was the topic.

Phantomnmine (in response to video):
"Well how about this? YOUR WRONG IM RIGHT AND GAY PEOPLE ARE A FIGMENT OF YOUR IMAGINATION made by propaganda-ists to help you understand your love for the colour pink. HA! Now that made just as much sense as your bloody comment did. Gay people rock, Christians rock, and quit being steriotypical!! GOD!!"

Me (in response to Phantomnmine):
"Gay people do not "rock" Phantomnmine. They are living in sin, just like the rest of us. They should not be bothered, hated, or have laws made against them. A sin is a sin, and God does not weigh them. We have free will on earth, and if they choose to live in that sin, that is not business of ours. The only thing we can do for them is show them Christ's love because they, just like everyone else, deserve it."

Jsraddawgman1 (in response to me):
"you know what i hate about being christian? or just religion in general? how there are always people trying to push their beliefs on you and how that they think everyone is the same. If you want to say we all live in sin, go right ahead. But what if i don't believe in god? then whos there to weigh my sins? not you. not anybody. what if christs love doens't concern me?"

Random255 (in response to me):
" So, the government shouldn't recognize the marriage because you say that God says that they are "Living in Sin" ???

Separation of church and state, buddy. The government isn't here to be a moral compass."

Could these people be any more ignorant?

Did I ever once say that government should not recognize gay marriage because it is a sin? No, quite the opposite, I said no laws should be made.

Did I even imply that I would be the one weighing a homosexuals sins if said homosexual did not believe in God? Did I even say that a homosexual must believe in God in order for their homosexuality to be a sin? No and no. Is that a Christian belief? No. Was my comment written as an attack against gay marriage? Not in the least. Was it more of a reminder for Christians to not judge someone because of their sins. Hmm, sounds a little more like that, now doesn't it?

My response to Random255:
"Read my comment again.. actually I will repost that part for you with a little emphasis. "They SHOULD NOT be bothered, hated, or HAVE LAWS MADE AGAINST THEM." I believe in the separation of church and state. I also said living in sin, JUST LIKE THE REST OF US. The comment was to Christians. It's purpose was to remind them it is not our place to judge. It had nothing to do with what you are trying to imply it did. Please read more carefully."

Unfortunately, I couldn't help but be a little bit rude with that one. I do not like my words twisted.

My response to Jsraddawgman1 (Sent in pm instead of comment):
"First off, you just supported my point. I don't care what you believe. I am not telling you what to believe. As far as this issue is concerned, it doesn't matter to me if you believe in God or not. My comment was to Christians who feel they can judge people, and my point was that according to our beliefs as Christians, God does not weigh sin. A homosexual person is no more sinful then any other unrepentant sinner, so we should leave them alone and stop trying to pass worthless laws. And I don't care if you don't care about Christ's love, that was also to Christians. I meant that we, as Christians, are commanded to be kind, understanding, non-judgemental, and Christ-like to everyone. Hypocritical Christians should not try and make homosexuals an exception to that just because they are sinners, because once again, according to Christian belief, all humans are born into sin, so that Christian is just as sinful his or herself."

Why must people insist upon ignorance?

I am begging you people. Please do not use the "banana is an athiest's nightmare" illustration to witness to people anymore. It doesnt work now! Just stop. We have so many other ways to tell people the truth! I love Ray Comfort but this one was just a mistake...

[[this video is truth, God exists and is magnificent! He sent His Son to die for our sins!]]

[[this video has some truth which atheists are using too much, the banana was a bad example...]]

These are photos from my recent missionary work in Brasil. We were truly blessed! We had no accidents and wonderful ministry. :) These photos are from a particular preaching point that I will always remember. This family had four children and two parents, and all six of them lived in this 10 foot by 10 foot house. That is smaller then my bedroom. My heart was truly saddened for these people. At first, I felt like we weren't that much of a help to them, and found myself wishing we could have done more. Then I realized that there is always the chance that our actions had a lasting effect; this family may have come to know Christ through our visit and the relationship they now have with the Segunda Igreja Batista de Santa Maria. (This is a church that has made a committment because of our visit to continue helping these people to the best of their ability as long as they are in need.)

(Me sharing my testimony with this family.)

(Teaching them about salvation through powerbands.)

(Giving them the food, toiletries, toys, ect. we brought them.)

(The family together.)
